Amanda Detmer (born September 27, 1971 in Chico, California) is an American actress who made her large screen debut swimming Miss Minneapolis in the beauty pageant-placed comedy Drop Dead Gorgeous. She has too mass produced notable appearances around Big Fat Liar and Boys and Girls. Though Detmer manufactured her debut within 1995 with the television moving-picture show Stolen Innocence, she decided to complete her Master of Fine Arts from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts before seriously embarking on a career in show business. She is non related Ty Detmer.
